Rayllomian Glossary

This was written 5 years ago and updated recently (lol). Basic Rayllomian terms used in my writings, pictures, descriptions and comics. If you don't understand a word for something, it will be here here generally.
Rayllom:
A planet existing somewhere in our galaxy, inhabited by leaving creatures.
Sanrix:
A place where groups of people work and live together, all of which are involved with, or linked to, or somehow work with dragons. This can refer to the actual castle-like structure or the group of people interacting within the structure. There are 7 Sanrixes in Rayllom, after the War of Garth only one is rebuilt.
Sanrixian:
The person in charge of running the sanrix, usually has the strongest dragon and most battle experience. Always a squadron leader. Generally male, generally related to someone who was friends with Sabbar.
Sanrixess:
The name given to the spouse in the condition that the Sanrixian is a married man. Second in command if the Sanrixian falls, usually heads her own squadron. Sanrixes run by females always refer to their leader as Sanrixess instead of Sanrixian even though she would occupy the same position. It is considered polite (like ma'am).
Squadron:
A group of dragons and riders that work in a unit. Up until the Fall of Garth, these unites were used exclusively for battles against other squadrons, on rival Sanrixes, and also against any time of army (mainly Garth's). Squadrons are extremely tight knit, and often band together similar personality types. Often times brother and sister dragons are found in these groups. 1st in command of a Squadron is called a Squadleader, and second is referred to as a Squad Second. This, however only applies in generalities, as most Squadrons develop their own lingos and names for inter-workings.
Link:
The process of which one bonds with a dragon. This is generally done at a dragon's birth, but can happen at any time during their life. This allows riders and dragons to commune telepathically and read each others thoughts to an extent, also to feel each other's pain and suffering. If one or the other were to die, it would be very possible that the other party would be so overcome with pain and also loss that they too were to die. Dragons can bon with anything they choose that can think on a high level.
Myias:
The dimension between all of Rayllom's 7 dimensions. Links all together. Only dragon-kind was given the responsibility and gift to be able to access it by the Gods. Thus those who have bonded with dragons, have obtained this ability when contacted with them (like on their backs). Beings who have been through the Myias and have been able to open their eyes have described it as a burning ditch with floating rocks and impossible gravity. Some say these are only fever dreams. Myias is always in italics when typed.
Jumping:
Process which a dragon, or dragon and rider enters at one location into the myias and exits at a completely different one. This process is 100% fool proof.
Clutch:
When a momma dragons lays a bunch of baby dragon eggs it is referred to as a clutch. Some types of dragon can birth live young (ew).
Zaire:
Pure blooded inhabitant of Rayllom. A type of creature with two natural forms that it can shift between on will. One is upright and appears to look sort of human above the torso, and a more primal animalistic form that was used for hunting and also running from the bigger hunters. Elitist and proud, the racism found in the time of the 7 Sanrixes often started with them.
Animagika:
The name given to any kind of mixed inhabitant of Rayllom. Used to refer to Zaire and human crosses only, but has expanded to include demon, animal, dragon and any other kind of blood that may get mixed into genetic pool of a creature. 90% walk upright and look like mixed Zaire, but a small amount walk on all fours, or have the ability to do so, some even having additional limbs. Depending on the amount of Zaire blood, they may be able to shift into a more primal form, but the majority cannot. Animagika is the formal name, they used to simply be called mutts and other derogatory terms.
Gauru:
A Rayllomian demon. An unnatural unwanted creature from the Myias. Have a variety of forms and appearances.
Half-Breed:
Term generally applied to specifically to half-blood humans creatures. Is inter-changable with Animagika but not as respectful.
War of Garth:
The time in Rayllomian history where Garth ripped apart the world in his conquest to conquer all 7 Sanrixes. This can be used to talk about the battles, or the time the war lasted (around 10 years) or the time he held all 7 thrones (another 5 years). Extremely bloody and violent time in Rayllom's history.
After Garth:
Time period after Garth's Fall. Used like the Christian AD (AG). Rayllom is currently still operating in AG time.
The Descent:
The event in which humans came to Rayllom. The story is that a group of extremeist christians fled Earth before the Earthlings destroyed the planet and crashed landed into Rayllom, bringing violence, guns, and hatred to Rayllom.
Time of Seven Sanrixes:
Time period before the War of Garth in which Sabbar ruled the world and there were 7 Sanrixes. After the original human/Zaire war. A very peaceful time in the history of Rayllom.
Human Zaire War:
Conflict that arose after the Descent. Was ultimately settled by Sabbar and the golden dragon known as Skylar making the first official link and leading the Zaire and Dragons into battle.
Dark Magic:
A form of magic practiced by inhabitants of Rayllom. It is extremely difficult to master and control.
Elemental Magic:
The more common form of magic found in Rayllom. It is more commonly occurring in native inhabitants but has befallen on some half-human creatures. The 4 different classes of this magic are Fire, Earth,Wind and Water. These four types manifest themselves most of the time depending on the user's heritage (i.e, elves are traditionally users of water magic). Mastering all four of these elements is nearly impossible.
The Magistrate:
A organization existing in the time After Garth in an old abandoned Sanrix. There are nearly 200 people who work for this organization, and it is only gaining in power and dictation. Their original purpose was to only monitor the usage of magic in Rayllom (to make sure no one was using it for ill) but they has thus expanded their bounds to more governmental means.
The Minister:
The person in charge of the magistrate. Traditional figure head who's power has since been slightly diminished but still retains a very high office. Traditionally a Zaire.
The Council:
The Group of 13 including the Minister who make up the figureheads of their departments. The original magistrate was only 13 members, of these 13 offices. Each are marked with a tattoo and robe in matching color which relates to the office that they held. Is a great honor and difficult task to become one of these members. The current board has two ground-breaking figureheads; Zaephess, the first woman, and Black the youngest.
